Yacht Douce France
|
| |
"Sleek, sophisticated, sexy and scorchingly fast, this 138 ft catamaran, is not only the largest in her category, but she is also a radical new concept in the world of superyachting".
Douce France is a result of meticulous studies and constructed using only the finest craftsmen.
She conforms to French Merchant Marine requirements as a passenger vessel, SOLAS and Veritas category 3.
With a total fore and aft sail area Qf 5,692 sqft, Douce France has the ability to sail at a constant 22 knots in a 28 knot breeze, and regularly achieves 15 knots in 20 knots of wind.
Her twin diesel engines allow her to silently cruise at 12 knots if winds become insufficient.
On Douce France however, speed is just one element... above all she is a cruising Superyacht.
Elegance of Decor
Pure lines and the finest woods...
Douce France's interior is the essence of sobriety and elegance.
Mahogany and rosewood furniture bring out an air of colonial charm.
The windows on the curvaceous deckhouse provide a 360* viewpoint for guests relaxing in the main lounge.
Excellence of service
Dining on Douce France is where one will appreciate the presence of French knowledge in the art of gastronomy. A professional crew will serve comfortably seated gourmets, the finest meals prepared in the ultra modern stainless steel galley.
A 250-bottle wine cellar, with a selection of the world's most famous wines, are just waiting to be selected and relished with the flavors of our cuisine.
Unique Douce France tableware from Limoges, enhance the presentation ... No need to describe our choice of food, on the finest French yacht, what can one expect ...
Evidence of comfort
The boat is designed to accommodate 12 guests in brightly lit and air-conditioned staterooms. Each are attractively lined with pale sycamore wood.
All have spacious en suite shower rooms with a separate head compartment.
The 50 sqft-floor space gives the option of either double or twin single beds and also comfortably leaves sufficient room for a convertible desk/dressing table.
Comfortable and more intimate, with cushioned seating and sunbathing mattresses,a prime setting to catch a glimpse of Islands ahead!
Access to the water and tender is particularly easy, using the folding stairway.
Guests have a choice of three dining areas. Our spacious cockpit pleasantly shaded by the overhang of the deckhouse; the more intimate lounge for the cooler evenings or the aft teak deck where one can enjoy the warm breeze and dine under the starlight.
Cruising around the world all year round, the guests always find their favorite activity amongst the wide choice available on board; Jetskiing, water-skiing, sailing, windsurfing and not forgetting our on board personal diving instructor who will guide you under the clear waters, and reward you with official certificates passed on board. |
